Why is BPA a a hormone disruptor? The answer seems simple, its original intent and purpose was that of an artifical estrogen created from research done in the 1930’s long before the adverse of estrogen replacement was known. As with many products that failed at its original purpose BPA was repackaged and re-marketed as a chemical for plastics manufacturing.
